Missouri River Runners is hosting a VIRTUAL event this weekend to honor longtime MRR member Roger Heinle. 

As you saw in a recent digital newsletter from us – Roger was featured in the news with a story about becoming 71 and running his age every year on the Westwood track – a tradition he has been doing for years. 

Roger passed away on Tuesday.  Services are this Sunday 5-7 pm and 10 am Monday (Funeral) at Skien Lutheran Church, Albaton, Iowa.  Burial is at the Sloan, Iowa cemetery.

For those lucky enough to know Roger – he was one of a kind!  For those who didn’t know him – we hope you will be inspired to run, walk or bike and share your mileage – knowing that we are more than a running club – WE ARE A FAMILY!  We hope you will join us!
